The DUO Elisabeth Riessbeck, flute / Klaus Jackie, guitar, has been playing together since 1988. They have performed in many European countries, in the US as well as at different festivals, for example the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival. A concertante and equal partnership between the two instruments is of particular interest for both artists. Using this point of view as their starting point, the two artists constantly broaden their repertoire with new challenges: including original works from all eras and everything up to contemporary compositions have become part part of their programs as well as their own arrangements of music by Schubert or Mozart, for example. „Perfect harmony and the joy of making music", according to press voices, are the outstanding characteristics of this unique duo.
